Don’t you think that the American people should be able to vote on issues like healthcare reform? Why should we trust our appointed officials when they do not vote the way the majority of the people think? How many actions have they passed that are a complete mess. Example: cash for clunkers? This administration’s over spending is going to cost the tax payers in the end. And if you believe he is just taxing the wealthy, think again. It’s good old Mr. & Mrs. John Q Public that will bear the brunt of this administrations over spending. Here’s an idea, bring voting technology up to speed and have machines located in libraries, grocery stores, drug stores or voting stores and let the American Public vote on bills after they are written and decide what is best for them. Think how much money we could save without Congress or the Senate. Maybe we could pay off the deficit. We would become the President’s advisors; let him know we are not going to let him make mistakes at our cost. Janis
