Another Two Billion Dollars Added To Cash For Clunkers

It never stops, the Administration and Congrsss just keep spending our money. They just added another two billion to the failing program. The only beneficaries are the car dealers, the scrap yards, and China. Let me explain the China involvement, the scrap metal will be sold to China to satisfy their huge appetite for steel. In turn they will manufacture products for export to the U.S.  Jobs are  lost here because their being outsourced mainly to China.
Our elected officials are setting us up for a major catastrophe in the years to come by their reckless spending and the way they govern. Does anyone understand the serious nature of all this? Let me here from you...

The problem is the same as it's been. We are not buying American. Even brands I thought were American - Hanes, Champion - not made in America! The American consumer buys their support for this products made in China, ect.. because 1.It's cheaper (when will companies that still make stuff in America learn to lower their prices?) 2. They don't bother looking through tags to find out if its made in America or not; and 3. It's just real hard trying to find stuff that IS made in America these days!
"American Standard" toilets - made in Colombia. How Misleading is that? Sure, manufacturers are supposed to label their product with where it's made, but then you have to find the label!
Next time you're folding your clothes, let me know if you run across any that are actually made in America.

Michelle, you are right on, people want cheap goods but they also want and need good jobs. This unbalance of trade has caught up with us. Most people cannot grasp the severity of the situation. I only can hope our nation will wake up to the threat that awaits us.
